More than just relaxing
The original sense of sauna was to thoroughly cleanse one’s body. Sauna has also very positive effects on one’s vegetative nervous system and general wellbeing and a strengthening effect on one’s immune system.
The “Aufguss” – pouring water over heated rocks
In order to enhance the humidity and the thus felt temperature in the sauna, water is poured onto the hot rocks lying on the sauna oven: That is what an “Aufguss” is – pouring water over heated rocks.
Thus, the löyly is produced (löyly is a Finnish word describing the steam developing through the “Aufguss” in the sauna).

In our small but fine fitness area, you can do certain positive things for your body and your health: A few active sessions strengthen your circulation, clear your head and forgive the feasting due to our delicious cuisine.
